Birfield Ring for Suzuki Samurai by Spidertrax Off-Road

The original "birfield fix" for the front Samurai axles. These high tolerance heat treated chromoly rings press fit over the OEM birfield joints. This prevents the birfield joint from grenading or exploding under high torque, a common problem especially with front lockers installed. There is no machining required on the OEM birfield to install this ring.

It is common knowledge that "open" differentials don't always get the job done on the trail. A standard "open" differential always divides distributed torque evenly. So if one wheel slips (now receiving low torque), the other wheel receives the same low torque. The Lock-Right locker ensures that both wheels are receiving 100% of available torque.

The Lock-Right 1510 locker works with factory side gears. This locker is recommended if your existing OEM side gears are in good condition and can be reused.

With the installation of 12 new 3/8” fine thread cap bolts, you will end up with 81.4% more thread engagement and 41.8% more cross sectional area per bolt! Simply drill out the threaded holes for the existing hub bolts and tap out the holes with a 3/8-24 thread. Each kit comes with all the parts needed for the install including the drills and tap. This kit works only with the Warn Premium Hubs [sold separately].
