Product Information:
This is a complete air conditioning kit that will add a/c to a CJ that does not have air, or it can be used to replace an entire system on a CJ that has an old inoperable system.
This complete air conditioning kit for Jeep CJs with a 4.2 liter inline 6 cylinder engine with V-belts. The 4.2 Liter 6 cylinder was used on CJ's and Wranglers from 1980-1990, this bracket will fit the 258 or the 4.2 liter in the CJ's. The kit is designed to work with R-134a refrigerant.
Special Note:
This system will not work on 4.2 Liter engines with a serpentine pulley setup.
The a/c system Nostalgic Air Parts is offering is similiar to the original system that Jeep designed. The evaporator unit is made in the USA, by Nostalgic Air Parts. The kit is very simple to install. The kit can be installed in one day, and includes all the necessary parts EXCEPT the refrigerant to charge it.
