I hope you read the reviews before you buy this you buy. I agree with Lance this is a great place for jeep parts and info. This cap is a screw in (treads) most of the YJ I have worked on the cap is a two prong 1/4 turn cap. Now the Unit is built very well quality looks pretty good. Other then the wrong info pretty good. This locking gas cap will not fit a 1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Don't get my advise wrong. I love buying from Morris, they are great people and a stand up company. They will make it right, this is not there fault, because the box said that it was the right cap for my vehicle. I have owned this Jeep since new, so I know the gas tank has not been changed, so in hindsight the manufacturer is wrong for printing that the cap works for my make and model. (Posted on 3/9/12) |
