Product Information:
The Lange Rack is different from other overhead racks for the Jeep. It was designed to accommodate your hardtop or folding soft top, as well as do a great job with your cargo! No bars running from front to rear to interfere with your top. Sturdy front & rear sections are self-supporting, and feature quick releases to attach & remove each section in seconds. A quick release clamp attaches to existing windshield bolts at the front, and to spare tire at the rear. Perfect for canoes, kayaks or even plywood. Made of durable black epoxy painted steel to resist corrosion. Supports up to 150 lbs.

    This rack is great if you want an easy to remove, easy to use rack, or if you need a rack and your jeep wont fit in the garage with a rack on. It is well made and is easy to take on and off the Jeep. It is definitely a sturdy platform for carrying a load.
    I was able to modify the rear a bit to accommodate an oversize tire (a trip to TrueValue and I had longer bolts to install it). Thule and Inno racks work with it as long as you get the fit kit for an large diameter load bar.
    Road test it before you go on a long trip! I was glad I did. At 40 mph the rack whistled. Very easy fix. The load bar has a channel for mounting different rack accessories. I covered the portion of the channel that I was not using with black Gorilla tape and no more whistle! 5 minute fix and now there is a grip surface when I load lumber. All in all great rack!
