Included, you’ll find polyurethane bushings and quick-release pins to ensure easy adjustment. For maximum off-road articulation, you can disconnect the sway bars and then simply re-install the pins when ready to ride home. Increase the traction and keep the articulation in your 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ . Skyjacker’s 5th Link Traction Bar is the fix for unwanted suspension movement that causes axle-wrap. Axle-wrap relates to unwanted rear pinion changes that cause drivelines to bind-up, driveshafts to buckle, suspension damage and yokes to break. A heavy-duty crossmember attaches to the factory frame rails as an anchor point in front of the axle. The crossmember has a re-enforced locator eye fitted with greasable polyurethane bushing as a front attachment point for the 'C' shackle. This unique 'C' Shackle is a key element in Skyjacker’s 5th Link design.

Transfer case tailshaft length is reduced by 6.5" on 1997-2006 Wranglers and 4.25" on 1988-1995 models resulting in improved drive line angles. Skyjacker’s Kit includes a redesigned transfer case main shaft which is not only shorter, but has an 18% larger spline diameter (32 splines) and allows a 54% increase in torque capacity. This SYE Kit allows you to run a longer, CV Style drive shaft.
