A "Stage 1" performance chip is ideal for the person looking for a little extra horsepower, without a lot of modification. This stage allows our customers, with stock or barely-modified vehicles, to use a performance module with less expensive, lower octane fuels (87 octane). With Stage 1, the programming is set to burn fuel at peak efficiency resulting in not only optimal performance, but gas savings as well.

A "Stage 2" Performance Module features the most extensive programming to enhance horsepower to it's greatest potential and maximize torque. Fuel (Requires 91 Octane) and timing curves are modified extensively for peak performance and drivability. This stage also requires the use of a 180 degree thermostat and free flow exhaust. An Aftermarket Air Intake System is highly recommended for a Stage 2 Performance Module.
