Jeep Starter Motor

The starter or the starter motor is one part of the vehicle’s engine starting system; the other component is the starter solenoid. A vehicle’s starter is an electrical motor that causes the engine crankshaft to begin to turn which starts the engine running. It does its job by simply converting electricity to mechanical energy in two stages. The starter solenoid is a large electrical switch that strengthens the starter motor when switched on. If you try to start your Jeep vehicle and the engine turns too slowly, or not at all, the Jeep starter or starter solenoid may need to be replaced.
