only thing I would do is to change over to LED or a better lighting system, sometimes pressing your spade connector on the back pushes it through the housing.. and grain of wheat bulbs only have a wire the size of a piece of hair, so.. it breaks, and you aren't going to fix it.. replace yes.. the bulb is easily found in most hobby, electronic, or online stores, just use the length of the lead and don't cut them short.. better long with a hair bit of glue to hold the spades in the housing.. I would prefer LEDs, and may pursue that on the one I have that broke.. as to the unit, its perfect, lights up blue, like I say, it fits the dash perfect.. and pricewise, its great.. I'd buy again, no problem, and I will have fun with this spare.. (Posted on 1/26/13) |
