Easy to Install, but not to aim Review by Bob

I ordered the Fog Light kit for the Rampage Recovery Bumper for my YJ. The wiring was really simple and easy to follow (most trouble was identifying the splice wire to tie into the headlights). The only issue I have is the bumper restricts adjustment to properly aim the lights. They function perfectly and add the right look to the bumper. (Posted on 6/19/12) |

These lights come with lousy installation guides. I bought them to fill in the holes of the rampage recovery bumper. They do not give you the hardware needed to install in the bumper. For the price of the bumper they could have thrown in new bolts. The bumper also has tabs for more lights on top that is not mentioned anywhere in the description. I wish I had bought something else. They will not work with your existing toggles and fog light wiring. You have to drill holes in dash to install the provided switch. (Posted on 4/19/12) |
