many may not know, but after maybe 150,000 miles this like the fuel pump can leave you stranded without warning. You will try to start the car and it wont happen. It should come with a felt spacer that falls off when you start it. if not do as others said and back if off maybe a quarter inch so it does not hit the spinning part inside.

It's good as long as you don't stick it in all the way. Put it in and screw it in place loosely; then pull it out as far as it will go and tighten the screw to hold it. Otherwise, it will stall because I think it'll hit the crankshaft. There might be a spacer, but the sensor I removed didn't have one, so I don't think so.

Works great in a 2001 TJ as long as you don't stick it all the way in.

How I installed it: Put it all the way, then put the screw in, but don't tighten it all the way. Now pull it out as far as it will go; then tighten the screw. Now it'll work right. Otherwise, it will stall.

*And that's not the right picture of the part in case anyone is wondering (not that it really matters).
