Title:Parts Data Specialist
Location:Pompano Beach, Florida
Type:Full Time
Description: Morris 4x4 Center is currently seeking a Parts Specialist to work in our Web Department entering and updating part information into our systems.

Research and develop price comparisons and price updates as needed. Work with our vendors to ensure that all parts have the pertinent information for our website. You will be supporting the Web Department, therefore, you will work within the Web Department.

    Key Responsibilities (not restricted to):

  • 1. Creating and/or updating data through Keyboard entry into our back-end data system.
  • 2.Price comparison and Price correction when needed.
  • 3. Create spreadsheet via Excel or OpenOffice.
  • 4. Address daily tasks that deals with parts on our site from various departments.
  • 5. Go through Automotive Catalog to ensure we carry parts on our site.
  • 6. Retrieve images from brands/vendors for our website.

    • Key Requirements:

  • High Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
  • Typing 35+ WPM with no errors.
  • Ability to proofread accurately.
  • Legible Handwriting.
  • Ability to Multi-Task.
  • High Level of Organization.
  • Ability to work efficiently.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office Skills including proficiency with Excel.
  • Familiar with Automotive Parts.

    • Helpful Knowledge:

  • Adobe Photoshop / Dreamweaver.
  • Basic HTML and CSS.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of factory and aftermarket Jeep parts, excellent customer service skills to provide Company automotive representation in the marketplace as a touch point for customers.

  • Provide professional Company representation that is consistent and aligned with the company's brand and core values.

  • Determine replacement parts required, according to customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.

  • Advise Customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.

  • Research part numbers and prices in the vendor catalogs and on our ecommerce site.

    • Key Requirements:

  • Billingual candidates are a huge plus!

  • Must be energetic, organized and customer service oriented.

  • A successful background in Jeep part sales preffered. To meet the responsibilities of this position, strong knowledge of Jeep factory and aftermarket parts and special interest automobiles is a plus!
