very nice, but you need to make an emergency rain top for the 1978 CJ5 the answer I got was they did not make that many CJ5's I not happy with that answer...just saying...

I just bought this top for my 1974 CJ5. It was a perfect fit and looks great! Installation was simple. Delivery of the product was also really fast, only took two days and the price was well worth it. Thanks again to Morris 4x4 for great products and customer service!!

First ordered the "strapless". After returning this because it was way to long I re-ordered the standard/traditional with strap bikini top for my CJ5.
Both units came so far back below the roll bar that they blocked my rear view mirror view.
Conferenced call with Morris & Bestop. Bestop call center claimed it was correct for CJ5's.
Their bikini tops are measured for a length of 40" from windshield to roll bar according to the girl at Bestop we spoke with.
Cj5's are all approximately 29"', so they figure one size fits all I suppose.
Not only blocked my rear view but also could not be stretched very tight and it flapped like crazy while driving.
I ended up taking my traditional style bikini to a local trim shop to have the new Bestop modified to fit my CJ5, which by the way, is a total rust-free, garage kept since new and correct CJ5.
Don't know where Bestop got their dimensions but the call center girl argued that 40" is correct dimension between windshield & roll bar for a CJ5 and suggested that I might have a modified CJ. lol.
Don't order this expecting it to look like the display pictures for a CJ5. It's too long.
